Life is Returning to Normal, Enjoying Every Moment as a Parent of Two

Life has been a blur since the leaves fell and pre-Turkey Day preparations.

From interruptions to the Thanksgiving holiday due to Louisa's fever and ER visit, with a flat in a run-flat tire then preparations for a successful business trip to Germany.

Cold season hit the Behner household multiple times, but we prevailed as it is the norm amongst parents with a 14 month old.

The day-to-day enjoyment of ever changing toddlers that warm every bit of your soul with their excitement and never ending moments of challenges and laughter. The journey continued through numerous xmas celebrations the new year quickly snuck upon us.

With three good storms requiring the snowblower, the excitement of trying out a new toy to us a used Ski-Doo for winter wonderland excursions especially for a hard working stay at home mommy! Seeing the yellow lightenig bolt race outside the windows across the pond is great to see when Katie walks in with glowing grin.

This weekend after a long snow blowing Friday evening start, focused on prepping the week with numerous meals including the following creations:

Lots of fun happenings in the Behner household. Chet is so playful now, grabbing Louisa's tow rope handle that she has hooked to the door and mimicking her. He's picking up blocks and throwing them and chasing after them, same with small balls too. Louisa is just beside herself with Pretzel, of course so is mommy. What fun to share in these experiences with our kiddos.

What better place to raise Louisa and Chet, still makes me smile seeing Louisa share in the love of water my grandfather Bernie made possible to my mom starting at the age of 6. Now Louisa is teaching her baby in swim diapers and baby float, can it get any better?

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad - 41 Years

Glad mom and dad came to town to celebrate the 4th and hang with us in this awesome weather!!! Louisa loves her beach addition, she's like her dada wanting to spend all summer in the water. Her momma loves the water as well and has fond memories of pond side fun.
