32 Degree Evenings puts a Froth on the Pond

Fall is certainly in the air, as you can see at 7am this morning the drastic temp differences from the pond which is around 65 to the air which is 32, BRRRrrrrr. Only 6 days of skiing left, including today before we leave for Bakersfield. Wow does time fly by. Then it will be time to put the boat away and call it a season!!! Tons of "summer project delays" to make-up for. Always a sad day when you look out the window and the dock and lifts are put away. But then it is time to break out the snowblower (another project) to get it ready for some ice skating this winter. I think LaLa might just be ready to run around on the ice with a helmet and chair. We're already looking for toddler snow shoes and a "bike trailer" to carry behind the mountain bike and cross country skis that fits "two".

Yes, mama and dada both qualified for INT Waterski Nationals which are being held in Bakersfield in 2wks. Auntie Anne and Grandpa also qualified by taking top places in Ohio. So the entire family (except Anne at this point) is heading WEST to the deserts of Bakersfield for a great opportunity.

Also get to see my western cousins for the first time: Jamie, Anita, Tasnim, Jazair, Imran and of course Trevor, Victoria and Lydia.

Blurr of July into August

Since mid-July, we've been GO-GO-GO at the Behner's. Certainly lots of fun exciting events (parents/sister in town for ski down and familiy relax time, Kev/Jill's wedding festivities, hampton beach relaxation, waterski 2day tourney, pro ski 2day clinic and just plane fun on pond).

This is the first relaxin' saturday in ages, where we didn't have to be somewhere by 8am. Ahhhh chillin' with girls eatin' cheerios, drinkin' coffee and postin' photos on the blog!!!

Off to another adventure, POOL PARTY BBQ WEEKEND AT NOWLAN's!!!

Momma got the chance to go out for a "shopping night" for a treat to the mall, without 'lil La La in tow. So da-da took advantage of the chance to have fun. Just hilarious how different she acts when mom isn't around, so just had to capture these moments on camera. Louisa just loves hanging in the boat with Daddy, too funny when she grabs her PFD (not a life jacket) or pushes the button on the lift. Won't be long and she'll memorize the boat lift code, UGH OH!!!
