Skatin' Away Again in Longpondville

Lovely January Sunday, time to build the skatin' rink??? If you build it, they will come.

Playin' with the new snow thrower, the real reason we got it!!! Invitation to all friends and family to come by and join us for a skate, we'll turn the lights on for you!!!

Whistle while you snowthrow, fewedhfasdhsdkfsadfk...

Feels great to throw the skates on for the 1st time this winter, looking forward to getting out every night. As long as mother nature doesn't have a different plan?!?

Rob catch that UFO, go Rob, go Rob, GO!!!

UFO sited on Long Pond...

I love playin' in the snow too, mom & dad!!!

Are skaters allowed to push chairs on the ice as they try to remember how to skate? It has been many a year since I put blade to ice!
PS Love your pictures.

no rules yet on Long Pond, but sure Kate could rig up a harness to Jingles too if you're interested... :)

would love to have you over, even if just for a hot cocoa...

Do you know where they sell skates with double runners on them for ladies who have not skated in years? Or so I need to fashion a pair for myself!!!???

ahhh, can't find any double-runners for adults anywhere...just for kids http://www.sportsunlimitedinc.com/littlerockett.html

looks like Katie will have to give you another lesson!!!

continuing to carry on the tradition Phil started by snowblowing and Ryan over on Northwood Lake back in the apartment days!!!

Thanks for the effort -maybe I can get a custom pair with a little fairy dust sprinkeld on them that will assist me in staying upright!!

I'm looking forward to giving ice skating a try!

I haven't attempted it in over 10 years... It could get messy.
