Dropped over 8 trees yesterday, all of which were dead and extremely TALL. Thanks to Jay Turmel of Turmel Tree Service, he does amazing work!!! He even brought his new 1 month old 24" chipper, WOW, why I never rented one when we originally cleared the lot is beyond me. That made quick work of everything. Used the built in winch to haul the trees to the chipper, then would shred anything up to 24" in diameter. What a great way to get rid of a couple of the hemlocks and nasty branches. Phil took and cut-up all the hardwoods for firewood. Of course thanks to all my ski buds for chipping in and giving a hand during the day: Justin, Christine, Jason, Vinnie, Degnan & Adam.
