Was a beautifully sunny March 1st day. Not sure what happened since then, but the sun was shining and the birds were welcoming Louisa to her new home.

Louisa has been dressed in her finest clothes to go home from the hospital. My mom had saved my outfit and bonnet from when I was born, but unfortunately Louisa was so petite she could only fit into her bonnet. Too cute!!!

interesting tidbit for the week:

Baby blues. "Guess what color my eyes are now?" Regardless of the eye color your baby will end up with, right now her eyes are blue. The pigmentation process in her iris won't be complete until his eyes have been exposed to light for several weeks after birth. Her final eye color may not be evident for years.
