Another Rainy Week at Scout Camp
Been keeping dry, but everyday we've been hit with thunderstorms at camp!!! Ahhh, good thing summer camp get a canvas tent on a platform. See I'm organized even at camp!!!
we had a blast even though it was rainy!!!builds character...
yahhh, def'n heard coyotes one night...they had to shoot one of the sheep with a blackpowder rifle then dispose of it in the woods...sounded closer than i would have liked around 2am...
also heard a weird noise one night, not sure what that was...
no racoons like Kate, Carrie & Heather had...but still think to this day they were just chipmunks...
SCott - they were defintly raccoons...we had footprints on our sleeping bags. Well I know I did after Kate and Carrie planted food wrappers under my cot so the little buggers would come and visit me!
the camp gets their sheep from a farmer for free, but these sheep are old and hadn't been shorn or had their tails docked...so with the extremely wet spring summer, they had a bad case of lice...
they had a few die earlier this spring, then they had to shoot this one...glad i wasn't a part of that...
