High 90s Temps & Southerly Breezes - FLORIDA?

Nope we're not in Florida, but certainly felt like it the bast five days. Brutally hot. But last night a cold front (cooler front) came in dropping temps 10deg. What a beautiful night on the pond. Just couldn't get the darn Accusink course to come up, then found two leaks in the system an airline that popped off connection and another blown bladder (last one happened on Saturday). So now skiin' for Rich & I, but certainly gave us plenty of time to make the repairs and start updating buoy lines with some Boy Scout knot creativity, new bright orange turn buoys and green pre-gates, as well as re-arrange magnets for all buoy timing. About half-way done after finishing up last night at 11:30pm. Posted by Picasa

You are one dedicated Skier! I thing we should start the "Long Pond Ski School" and forget all of these other professions!!@#@!

it's the dedication we all share in what we are passionate about...would certainly love to do the "ski school" thing, but the stressers of running such an operation tends to remove the passion!!!been down that road before...

rather keep to part of my personal mission "...work to play..."

I wonder if you could get a grandmother up, who threw her bathing suit away in Hawaii and will ski in her clothes?

no need for bathing suit in boat, just an extended pylon...picking up a buddies this weekend to teach our neighbor Forrest kids how to ski and/or kneeboard
